 Mackie, the legendary company behind industry-leading live sound and recording products, introduces a pair of new additions to the Thump loudspeaker series: Thump210 and Thump210XT. Featuring a compact 10” woofer design, 1400W Class D amplification, and all the thoughtful design features of the recently updated Thump series, these speakers are the new go-to choice for mobile DJs, touring bands, small venues, and more.With their surprisingly portable format, Thump210 and Thump210XT are the new babies in the family (not counting the even smaller, battery-powered Thump GO). But despite their size, these new speakers still offer everything from their larger siblings, beginning with Mackie’s proven professional sound and rugged design that stands up to heavy touring and gigging. The Thump series received a total redesign in 2022, packing more power, capability, and bang-for-the-buck than ever before. In addition to upgraded heavy-duty drivers and 1400W amplifiers, Mackie added the incredibly useful Feedback Eliminator, which instantly (some say magically) stops feedback in its tracks, saving the show and your ears. The update also included Music Ducking mode, which automatically dims the music when you need to make an announcement. The versatile I/O and built-in 2-channel mixer make Thump loudspeakers easy to integrate with any setup, so everyone can take advantage of these clever features. Introduced at the same time, the enhanced “XT” models added even more capabilities to the Thump series, including four application-specific voicing modes: “Music” to enhance pre-recorded music, “Live” for general sound reinforcement, “Club” for a nice low end punch, and “Monitor” for use as a floor wedge. Indoor and Outdoor modes adapt instantly to the setting, perfect for wedding DJs and outside gigs. Additional XT features like system EQ, levels, mutes and more are easy to access with the Thump Connect 2 app for smartphones. And with Bluetooth® streaming and wireless linking between multiple Thump speakers, the XT models have changed what’s possible for such affordable loudspeakers. Now, Mackie has conquered a new challenge: shrinking all that capability into a highly compact format with the Thump210 and Thump210XT, without making a single compromise.
