| Sony Super Duper Music Looper and Jam Trax Software Programs Encourage Music Creation & Creativity for Kids of All Ages | ||||||
The brand-new Jam Trax and newly enhanced Super Duper Music Looper programs allow kids to create their own songs and mixes using musical building blocks called loops. Both applications include more than 600 loops and sounds that kids can mix and match for infinite creative possibilities. "With Super Duper Music Looper and Jam Trax software, kids can make their own music in minutes," said Dave Chaimson, vice president of marketing, Sony Media Software. "You don't have to know how to read music or play an instrument to make your very own songs. We use elements called 'loops,' and layer them together to provide infinite ways in which kids can explore musical composition. The software even lets you change the key and tempo of the song making this a perfect accompanist for practice." Both programs provide loops representing hundreds of instruments such as drums, guitar, keyboards, horns, and percussion that can be mixed with amazing sound effects in the easy to understand drag-and-drop interface. Microphone support through your PC's sound card lets kids add their own vocals to the mix. Finished songs can be sent to a friend by email, saved to play again, or even archived to a format that can be burned to a CD for listening on the go.
