Queen: They are still the champions of the world. And when a cross-section of rising artists honor one of the great bands of all time, there's only one result. They will rock you. This summer, Hollywood Records is set to release "Killer Queen, A Tribute," which boasts new versions of 14 classics by the immortal British quartet. The CD arrives in stores August 9.

There's never been a Queen tribute album like "Killer Queen." Comprised mostly of musicians born after Queen had begun its amazing run on the charts beginning 30 years ago, the album certifies Queen's enduring legacy with new generations of artists.

Among the CD's highlights, "American Idol" rocker Constantine Maroulis reprises his show-stopping rendition of "Bohemian Rhapsody." Maroulis first performed the song as a Top 10 finalist on the just-concluded fourth season of "American Idol." On the new CD, Maroulis teams up with the cast from "We Will Rock You," the hit British musical extravaganza based on the music of Queen, now playing at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel.

Other artists and songs featured on the CD: Gavin DeGraw with "We Are The Champions"; Jason Mraz performing ""Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy"; Eleven featuring Josh Homme singing "Stone Cold Crazy"; Flaming Lips doing their own version of "Bohemian Rhapsody"; Josh Kelley singing ""Crazy Little Thing Called Love"; Rooney with "Death On Two Legs"; Jon Brion performing "Play The Game"; Shinedown's rendition of "Tie Your Mother Down"; British teen soul singer Joss Stone with "Under Pressure"; Los Lobos singing "Sleepin' On The Sidewalk"; Be Your Own Pet with "Bicycle Race"; Ingram Hill doing "39"; Breaking Benjamin with "Who Wants To Live Forever"; Antigone Rising singing "Fat Bottomed Girls"; and punk band Sum 41 singing "Killer Queen."
