There are three variations per beat, clearly labeled and arranged as follows: * Variation A: These are slight variations of the main beat * Variation B: Changes the hi-hat or switches to the ride cymbal for more emphasis * Fills: The main beat has at least one fill Designed to be as realistic as possible, these grooves employ a wide variety of techniques (drags, flat and double flams, ghost notes, inter-kit dynamics, etc.) along with extensive timing and velocity variations. These grooves are NOT quantized so you can add the appropriate amount of feel as needed. Ease of Use In addition to the BFD bundles, individual GM mapped MIDI files are also included. These patterns are organized in separate folders by style, clearly labeled and will loop in Acid, Reason, Fruity Loops & FL Studio, Live, Cubase, Logic, Garage Band, and Cakewalk's Sonar, P5, etc. In addition, each style category has one file containing all of the individual beats for easy previewing. These files can also be used with Cakewalk's Session Drummer. Cakewalk Tools This collection includes a set of drum maps and CALs for each standard BFD kit. The CALs convert GM mapped grooves to work 'out of the box' with any of the standard BFD drum kits – ideal for working on your older projects and cover songs.
