New from Germany-based Realsamples are four brand new sample collections for HALion and GigaStudio users. In addition, the Real Drums library is now available for use with EXS24, as well as HALion and GigaStudio.

The "Concert Guitar Collection" features single notes of a master-built nylon string acoustic guitar, played in fingerpicking style. To bring its natural character into the digital world, the instrument was sampled chromatically with 32 velocities of every single note. This allows you to use the full dynamic range of the instrument in your sampler. Also, the unnatural effect of the same samples being played twice is minimized. The guitar was captured in 96 khz/24 bit resolution to retain most of its original sound quality.

The "Electric Piano Collection Vol.1" contains a classic Hohner Clavinet electric piano for that legendary funk sound. To capture its original sound, it was sampled chromatically with 16 velocities of every single note. The Clavinet was recorded directly from the pickup through a Universal Audio 610 tube preamp in 96 khz/24 bits to capture most of its original sound quality.

The "Electric Piano Collection Vol.2" contains a Hohner Pianet electric piano, sampled chromatically with 16 velocities of every single note. The Clavinet was recorded directly from the pickup through a Universal Audio 610 tube preamp in 96 khz/24 bits to capture most of its original sound quality.

The "Overdriven Guitar Collection" is for anyone who wants a real rock guitar, giving you a Gibson SG guitar right at your fingertips. The guitar has been the main axe for guitarists like Eric Clapton, Pete Townshend and Santana. Captured in 96 khz/24 bit quality, the guitar has been sampled chromatically with 32 velocities of every single note.

The "Concert Guitar Collection", "Electric Piano Collection Vol.1 & 2" and the "Overdriven Guitar Collection" are available in the Steinberg Halion (files are in wave format with additional Halion presets) and Tascam GigaStudio format on DVD or 3 CDs. A 44.1 khz version is available in either 24 or 16 bits for $59.95. A DVD version is available in 96 khz/24-bit for $79.95.

Previously only available in the Steinberg Halion and Tascam GigaStudio format, the "Real Drums Collection" is now available in the Emagic EXS24 format as well (files are in wave format with additional presets). Bringing you a Pearl drum-kit with the choice of two different snare drums, it contains up to 110 velocities of the single drums to provide great realism within your sampler. Captured in 96 Khz/24 bits, three different kinds of drumsticks were sampled for maximum flexibility: Normal sticks, brushes and hot rods. The instrument is available in the Steinberg Halion (files are in wave format with additional Halion presets) and Tascam GigaStudio format on DVD or 4 CDs. A 44.1 khz version is available in either 24 or 16 bits for $69.95. A DVD version is available in 96 khz/24-bit for $89.95.
