The Precisionsound Cembalo is a Philip Jack Specken model from 1748 rebuilt by Nils Olof Berg in 1986 and recorded in the SAMI A-studio in Stockholm.
The Cembalo is a big Harpsichord sampled in Stereo with 2 velocity layers (fast and slow strike at the keys) for both the notes and release notes, 241 samples in total, recorded in 24bit and dithered down with Apogee dithering to 16bit.
There are also additional Cembalo FX programs included with 67 stereo files of string clusters, ambient noises and hits.
All 3 giga files, "Cembalo", "Cembalo FX1" and Cembalo FX2" are mapped for Gigastudio 2 -> and compatible with HALion & Kontakt. The "Cembalo" file has 2 programs both with our without release samples.
The samples are ambient and contain a lot of the actual room, the natural reverb of the studio, but close mics. The sounding result is a huge and powerful tone.
