Any of you guys know where to go when you have a score you want professionally printed. And maybe proofed? Staples? But what do they know.

I found Subito music on the net, but haven't heard back. And they said they they prefer Sibelius files because it's supposed to have better engraving capabilities. I think I'll pass out if I have to learn one more program .

Also, any of you guys know how to import art for a cover in Finale? Or where to look for cover art? I don't understand the files you have to use. Something about EPS & TIFF. And have any of you guys ever had anything published?

Thanks for any info,

Andy

Andy,

To answer your question about the EPS & Tiff files for importing and exporting. More programs will import and export tiff files. You can always develop it in what ever program you like and take it to Kinko's with the specs and they can convert it for you.

Hi Andy,

I think the easiest thing to do would be to export your Finale score as a PDF. Then use Adobe's Acrobat Pro software (or some other software) to edit the PDF file. This will allow you to add cover pages, etc.

You can then upload the finished PDF file to a service like www.cafepress.com or www.lulu.com and have it printed there where you can either sell it through their site or order copies for yourself to sell.

As for proofing, I'm not sure where you could go for that.
