Anyone have a view about Native Instruments Guitar Rig compared with the Pod?
I do not have the pod. I assume that you are familiar with the features of guitar rig and that you are asking about the quality of its sound. I am very satisfied with guitar rig overall. I dont think there is any guitar sound that i could not get with it. It is relatively simple to use. It can be played live with a laptop and midi foot controller(or the NI rig control). I also have amplitube and i like it as well. It does not have as many features and the interface is not as fun to use.
Scotty, I've got the Guitar Combo's package ($59 American Musical Supply) and I am thoroughly pleased the the sound and tone I get from each of the models and the supplied presets are awesome. I never got tone like this from my POD.
