PG Music Inc. has released version 2010 of its popular, award-winning Band-in-a-Box® intelligent music accompaniment software for Windows®.
In announcing the release of Band-in-a-Box 2010, program author and creator Peter Gannon said, “Band-in-a-Box 2010 is our best release ever, with 101 new RealTracks and 3 new RealDrums Sets for Jazz, Rock, Pop and Country.” We’ve also added over 50 new features and enhancements including a new “Plug-in” feature to Drag-and-drop tracks between Band-in-a-Box and your favorite sequencer; RealTracks have been enhanced, and many more. As an added convenience to our customers, we are happy to offer a number of Band-in-a-Box 2010 packages on a plug-n-play USB hard drive.
RealTracks have become a very popular addition to Band-in-a-Box. These are actual audio instruments recorded by studio musicians that replace the MIDI track and play along in sync to the chord progressions you enter. Previously we offered over 270 RealTracks. Now we’ve added 101 more great RealTracks for Jazz, Rock, Pop, and Country and they are better than ever.
RealTracks now generate up to three times faster and individual MIDI or RealTracks can be frozen so the arrangements can be saved and replay quickly. RealTracks now support Shots, Holds, and Pushes.
Additional features and enhancements in version 2010 include a new “Plug-in” mode, allowing you to simply Drag-and-drop tracks between Band-in-a-Box and your favorite sequencer. There are now up to 999 levels of Undo; all tracks can now be edited and all settings are now saved with each song, and more.
