The issue is - I have recorded in Sonar a DX track of the B4 organ. Now I want to have a preset change (say from Blues to Sampa Ti) there in the midi track on the chorus entry and then back again for the second verse, for playback.
Do I have to record automation the change?
Is there a simple way of entering a midi cc message somehow?
Thanks
Pablo

I believe you can just use the event view and go to the time you want the patch to change and pick the insert event button at the top of the event view window then double click on the square under the kind column and pick patch change from the pop up dialog. Then double click the instrument and change it to the desired patch.

Hope I got that right.

Bill

And while this is a different approch it works
;)+) B4-NI's v-organ shound be optimized so that if you add another instance for the new patch you should not take that much of a hit CPU wise.
