Someone had mentioned the CSN song Suite: Judy Blues Eyes and I recalled that they had used a strange tuning. At the time, I wan't into different tunings (now I am) anyway I looked it up and the tuning is eeeebe. I tuned my guitar to it and a song literally wrote itself in fifteen minutes. Amazing!

I'm an old CSN lover from b springfield days. and I've always had a facination with strane and exotic tunnings. I'm not sure why. but the effect is really different. This Vsample allows me to mix diffrent cords in different tunings so when I finally get my in/out set up I wonder where it will take my tunes.

Actually, you're quite close with the tuning, but it's actually "ebeebe". I've been transcribing music by ear for over 10 years and I remember that song being one of the harder ones...

Well, I tuned eeeebe and it works. This song about a condemned man facing execution wrote itself. Even though the basis of the song was written in fifteen minutes, I'll spend weeks (or months or years) re-writing it. When I get it done, I'll put it up on the website.

When I played the song, I used to put a Capo on the 2nd Fret and just play D, G, and A Chords....
