Hi,

I am trying to install Sonar X1 but I want to install shared components on D drive instead of C drive because there is no enough space on C.

I changed everything to D drive but I cannot change the shared components to D because I cannot browse to it because it is in grey as the picture.

Is there a way that I can change it to D drive?

Thanks
F

Hi Foxy,

The reason it's grey is because you must have other Cakewalk software installed. Possibly some previous versions of SONAR. All version share those components, so no, you can't move that folder now.

Well, you can if you remove all your older Cakewalk software completely and then reinstall only X1. That should work, but I wouldn't bother with all that trouble. And I would contact Cakewalk tech support first if you plan to do this, just in case.
