Yep, it's the beginning of the year. The holidays are over and people are getting back to work... myself included, although I'm here everyday as well.

Still here...
I got sidetracked for a couple of months when I discovered dry rot in the floorboards of our dining room. Major (expensive) building works were necessary. Here's a pic of the situation when most of the rotten timbers had been removed, revealing the cellar below. Builders in every day, freezing temperatures...the builders never seemed to learn that front doors can be shut once you've gone in or out the house...
