I've done a clean reinstall of Sonar X1 Producer. I also did a clean reinstall of Dimension Pro.
A couple of problems:

1/.Now I find that on loading some projects I've been working on that Sonar can't find the Dimension Pro Synth rack. It doesn't do this for every instance but for quite a few. Is there a way I can point it to the location of the synth rack so I don't have to insert another instance of Dimension Pro and copy track contents?

2/. I did the reinstall because I keep having Sonar crash everytime I close a project. I get a reset button message coming up and the program stops working. When I restart the program there is no sound. It seems not to be able to load the Edirol UA25ex. SO I have to reboot- very frustrating- and hasn't happened with previous versions of Sonar. The reinstall just has not helped.
Any suggestions?

1. No, unfortunately, you need to insert new instances of the plug-ins.

2. Have you tried a different Driver Mode? ASIO or WDM.

Scott- thanks. Next problem. Once I've input new instances of the plugin is there any way to stop the annoying message coming up when the project loads that it can't find the previous plugins? This comes up for the original Dimension Pros it can't find and for Session Drummer 2. These tracks have been deleted but the project is still looking for them.

Deleting the tracks doesn't remove the synths from the project. Have you removed the synths from the Synth Rack?

The Synth Rack is now located in the Browser. Press B to show/hide the Browser and then click the Synth tab at the top of the Browser.
