I have 2 songs in different keys, that have similar tempos
and sort of use similar progressions in their compositions

They're both good songs, so should I let go and flow - or change them so they're not so much the same?
Or am I possibly developing a style ?

Sounds like the radio . On something like that I wouldn't fret it. If over time, one tunes starts to change a little cause we all do that to some degree, And it's goes a different direction that good to.

If similer were a sin there would be a lot less tunes out there. I'm not taking about a straight away rip. But close and you wrote both? Not to worry. Well I wouldn't.

Love to make that music,as well I love to tweak,Make my own sample sets

Each song is its own. Just put them on different albums.

Neil Young said "It's all one song".

It's your style.
