I really shouldn't have upgraded from Soundforge 10 to Soundforge 11.
At the moment I'm converting some audio books from cassette to MP3 on CD, using Soundforge Pro 11. The problems I'm having is that clicking on the Record Arm button, nothing shows on the channel meters so I cannot adjust the input volume this way (I could with SF 10!). So I click on View > Record Options, and a small window pops up with meters that work, so I can adjust the input volume this way. However, after volume adjustment, when I click the record button, Soundforge starts recording, but the channel meters still do not work! (They did on SF 10!)
Can anyone offer some advice please? It's driving me nuts.....
Mike

Hi Mike,

Sorry, not using 11 at the moment, so I can't help. Have you tried contacting Magix tech support?

Scott

Thanks for reply.
Haven't contacted Magix because mine is a Sony version. Do you think they would help?
I always prefer to ask on these forums first as you get advice from a variety of people which can give you more than one reply option, and communications can be ongoing as opposed to maybe a one off answer from the company.

That's where you need to request support, Mike. Sony sold Sound Forge to Magix and they've taken over.

We all got notices when it happened, that they'd moved our accounts there, and the Sony site would go away........
