I have Acid Power for 3.0, and although I was comfortable with 4.0, which I used for a long while, I've been using Sonar for about a year, and now Acid Pro 6, seems somewhat strange in some ways.
For example, I can create a loop in Sonar by enabling Groove Clip Looping, and now I can't remember how to do it in Acid.
How helpful will Acid Power be, with AP6?

Hi Stephen,

Cool... thanks very much! I appreciate your support.

In your last post though, you said "Hopefully there will be something like your books for Sonar, in the near future."

So it sounded like you hadn't heard of my Sonar books before.

Thanks!
Scott

Hi Stephen,

There are a bunch of Power books on the market, but I've only authored the Sonar and Sound Forge books.

As Larry said, I actually do have Sonar books available. You can check them out at my site:

Sonar Power/SoundForge Power books are by Scott G. The Acid Power books are by different author.

I didn't realize you weren't the author!

Should have looked huh!
Oh well, I'm back to Sonar for now anyway!
Wrong time for a learning curve, I want to record, not subject myself to more learning of software, at this point anyway.
Hopefully there will be something like your books for Sonar, in the near future.
Thanks.

Hi Stephen,

I'm not the author of the ACID Power books and I haven't seen the latest ACID 6 Power book. I think your best bet would be to see if you can find the book in your local bookstore so you can take a look at it. They you can determine whether it will be of help or not.
