I am working on a Drum Line with Sonar 8. The View Staff shows that the music notes are in 4/4. How can I change the notes to 3/4 or 2/4.

By "auto-complete" I'm assuming you mean how SONAR automatically fills and trims durations, correct?

There are two buttons in the Staff tool bar called Fill Durations and Trim Durations. Just click those to deactivate the features. You can also press F and M on your PC keyboard, respectively.

I have another Staff Question. Is there a way to turn off auto-complete while working in Staff View?

Hi Sulaiman,

You can change the time signature of a project (and throughout a project) using the Meter/Key view.

Choose Views > Meter/Key. Double-click on a meter/key in the list to make changes. If you change the first meter/key in the list, that changes then entire meter/key for the project (if you use only that one). You can also enter additional changes by positioning the Now Time at different places in the project and then entering additional meter/key changes.
