Mom insisted our baby daughter learn sign language before she could talk. She turns 4 the end of this month. She really did pick it up though. I was quite amazed. She could use sign language to ask for more food, or tell us if she liked or didn't like some food. She had a whole little vocabulary of "words" via sign language. The new batch of kids has been a real kick. The previous older one has been fun too. Our newly arrived son just turned 1 at the end of May. My soon to be 4 year old loves Irish music. We found that out on Saint Patrick's Day, and now that's all she wants to listen to.

LOL! Thanks for the laugh Otto.

Baby testing... some parents are going crazy these days trying to make their kids learn everything possible right from the start. I saw this infomercial on TV about teach babies to read before they can even talk! Give me a break.

Scott, you shouldn't test babies, you know their gonna fail. Man, they can't even talk yet and there you are, already testing them. Yeah yeah yeah, blah blah blah, be insensitive to those poor babies. That Pink Floyd song, "Hey, leave those babies alone".
