Hi I mixed down using bounce to tracks 'what you hear option. On the resulting mixdown audio track the last cymbal hit stutters and plays additional hits not shown on the midi event list. I am using BFD drums plugin. The resulting mix has these strange hits!! any ideas? Once again I am lost.

Cool... I'm glad it worked.

Not sure about the crashes. It definitely shouldn't do that, but it could be some kind of problem between BFD and Sonar. I don't know.

Thanks Scott, works well.
It did crash on the first 2 attempts, but if you don't try doing
anything for about 40 seconds after the file has rendered, it doesnt crash. computer must be still thinking computer type stuff.

Thanks again,

Malthouse

Hi Malthouse,

In the Bounce To Tracks dialog box, try unchecking the Fast Bounce option so that the bounce will occur in real-time instead. That may fix the problem. Some soft synths can't handle doing a bounce unless it is in real-time.

Hi me again.

Ok I have deduced that this is something to do with how sonar mixes down the BFD drum track. In playback all works fine. But the resulting mixed down audio track splutters or chops any long cymbal hits. All other drums etc seem ok. Can anyone recommend which audio settings to try to adjust. I have tried chaging from 30 to 60 bits on the mixdown options, but it makes no differnece. Please help
