Toontrack announced the release of the Progressive EZX and The Progressive Foundry SDX, two new drum library expansions for EZdrummer 2 and Superior Drummer 2. Both products come from a session at the Sing Sing Recording Studios in Melbourne produced by engineer Forrester Savell. This marks the first two product launches of the company’s annual Metal Month campaign and also a first ever simultaneous release of an EZX and SDX.
”We are extremely excited to not only bring drum sounds by one of the most up-and-coming producers in heavy rock today, but for the first time ever offer both Superior Drummer 2 and EZdrummer 2 users new custom content on the same day. This is something our customers have asked for and we’re thrilled to be able offer them two of the most massive expansions we have ever released”, said Toontrack’s CEO Peter Knutsson.
